Old Memories

I was trying to look for old photos from high school to share with my classmates. We've been organizing get-together sessions for the last couple of months and we are trying to gather old photos to share. And as I was doing that I found other old items instead. I found a box filled with old letters from old friends, old post cards and greeting cards, old notebooks, old textbooks, and old pieces of flowers. I was able to keep the rose my old friend gave me on Valentines Day. I placed it inside an old book, and let it dry there. My searching for old photos ended up finding old memories that I would rather kept hidden. I am not sure if this is something to be sad about. But seeing those old letters, cards and notes somehow brought a little bit of pain in my heart.

My headaches. My back aches. I am hurting emotionally. I'm in a daze. I am confuse. It is really getting harder each day. I wonder if this is how Spiderman felt. I am beginning to lose positivity. I am running out of hope. I'm running out of patience. I'm getting weak. I am not sure how long I can still hold on. Sooner or later I will give up. I am about to give up.

It feels like nothing can keep me from getting down. It seems that no one can ever inspire me to become more hopeful, patient, strong and be positive.

Gift Suggestion: Custom Mugs

I got a lot of friends celebrating their birthdays this month and next month. This means that I am going to be busy attending birthday celebrations and I need to prepare my budget for their birthday gifts (big grin). It is always fun to attend birthday celebrations, especially if the people that you are celebrating with are the ones you don't usually see or you have not been with for a very long time. But celebrations also need money. Hey, I am not complaining here ok. I am just trying to speak my thoughts out loud. And I am just speaking of the truth, the reality (smiles). Anyway, for some maybe, gift giving is not necessary. But for me, i love giving gifts. After all, celebrations like birthdays only happens once a year. Sometimes longer than a year; this also depends on the person having a birthday (big grin). For this year, I am thinking of giving my friends custom mugs for their birthdays. Personalized and customized things are very in nowadays. There are custom shirts, jackets, bags, etc. But for this year, I would prefer mugs since most of my friends are working in an office, they can use the mugs for their coffee break (smiles). And that way they will always remember me even if they are busy at work. I just need to make a unique design for each of them; and find a shop that can work on them. There are a lot of shops around the mall, surely I won't have a hard time looking for one.

Weekend Bonding

Spend my Sunday morning with my nephew and nieces. We went to the mall early today. I bought a new backpack, my nephew bought a jacket, one of my nieces bought a sneakers and my other niece bought a new shirt.

After our shopping galore (big grin) we went to our favorite pizza and pasta restaurant. And had our favorite pasta & pizza.

We ordered the new star pops pizza, supreme flavor. And the usual pasta that they love to eat.

We also had a plate of mozzarella sticks. Here are photos of my niece and nephew while eating the mozzarella stick. Its chewy and they love doing that thing in the photo while eating them.

My nieces are having some girl talk (big grin). The other one looks like a boy but she is a girl really. She just loves to look like a boy and dress like a boy; but in her heart she knows she's truly a lady.

Weight Loss Review Sites

For the last few months I have visited several review sites that features diet pills, fat burner pills and various kinds of weight loss supplements that are available in the market today. Each review sites I have visited has its own unique way of presenting these weight loss products. There are some sites I visited that are truly filled with helpful information. These site features the top recommended weight loss supplements, the advantages and the disadvantages of using them, the benefits, the side effects and of course the cost. I have also visited a couple of sites that features apidexin. And one of them is actually about apidexin scam. I tried searching other sites that might feature other weight loss supplement scams; brands like lipovox and fenphedra, but so far there are no such sites. Anyway, all I am saying is there are a lot of available review sites out there that would help us choose.. they give us choices. Now it is up to us to evaluate these things that we read; evaluate them carefully before deciding to buy anything. We should always be careful when it concerns our health.

Food That Burns Fat

I am really serious about losing weight this year; and I am going to try hard to stick to my losing weight plan. Part of my losing weight plan is to enroll myself to boxing and to continue with jogging sessions with my colleague. I am going to begin doing this physical exercises next week. Wish me luck! (Good luck!) (big grin). Anyway, another thing, which I have already started doing is to take fat burner supplements. It will compliment my efforts to do physical activities. The fat burner supplement I am currently taking best works when you are physically active. I really need to have physical activities or regular exercise to get better results from the supplements. There is another thing that I am planning to do; I just need to make more research about it. I am planning to include in my diet the food that burns fat. I look at it as something that I can benefit from and of course, something that I can enjoy. It might somehow ease the pressure caused by my efforts to loose weight (big grin).

New Phone Rack

It was a fairly busy weekend for me. I report for work last Saturday to finish some open items that need to be ready by Monday.

And today, we went to the grocery store to buy stuff for the pantry and some toiletries. I saw this phone rack on sale; and I imagine how it would look like in the vacant corner in our living room. It also matches our newly reupholstered sofa (big grin).

In other words, I bought the phone rack (big grin). Sharing here photos of my Dad and my niece trying to put the parts of the rack together.

Even our dog Poochie is also curious with the new furniture. He was trying to get the box from my niece.My Dad took about 10 minutes to assemble the phone rack.

Viola! We have a new phone rack!

Playing with Words

I was checking my files on my laptop, trying to delete some of them to free up space. Then I saw the poems I wrote years back and some excerpts of the poems that I love. While I was reading them, I try to remember my state of emotion during those period. And I also try remembering why I like those passages that I kept a copy of. Unfortunately, I was not able to back track my state of emotion back then; and I was not even sure if I understand the passages while I was reading them now (sad). Geez.. I think I lost that part of my heart (and my brains).

I started writing down words; try playing with them. Here are some of the words that I wrote - Sweet and Low, Warm and Sweet, Black and Mild, Dark and Deep, Heart and Soul.

Then I started writing phrases using these word combination -
Hold me down, Sweet and Low (this is actually a lyrics from a song by Augustana)
A warm hug and a sweet kiss (this is what I need now)(sad)
Enjoying my black coffee and a mild cigarette (sounds delightful)
The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep (a line from Robert Frost's famous poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening")
I have loved you with all my heart and soul (cliche! hehe...)

I guess I better start bring my poetry books out of the shelf and start reading them again. I better try to reconnect with my "other side again"; and start writing again.. writing from the heart.

Yey! Friday! - Coffee Break

It was a very busy Friday. The day was filled with lots of meetings and activities. I reported for work early (than my usual time that I come in) so I can prepare for the meetings scheduled for the day.

Our first was with our Consultant. But before that I had to meet with our Accounting Manager to discuss what are we going to present in the meeting; just to make sure that we are on the same page.

We were too busy that we just had our coffee break in our work cubes. And because I got a lot of papers and clutters on my table, I accidentally spill my coffee on the saucer (big grin). I accidentally spill some of it on my notebook (wink, wink).

Wrinkle Treatment - Prototype37c

This week is definitely one busy week for me; actually for the whole support group. Though our boss is on vacation leave the whole week, it doesn't feel like she's out of the office at all (big grin). One of the "highlights" of this busy week is our VIP visitors from the US. The preparations got a little stressful because we want to make a good impression to our visitors.

My schedule this week changed too. I usually report for work to our Makati office every Tuesday only. But for this week, I had to report there twice. There are a lot of open items in both offices that need to be addressed and need full focus. Sometimes because of the long list of tasks that we need to work on, it feels like we are spread across these tasks; and we are spread thinly. It also feels like I am going to have early signs of wrinkles (wink, wink). Perhaps I should start looking for the best wrinkle treatment available just in case, hehe.. It is better to be prepared than to be wrinkled (big grin).

I actually found one already. The site features prototype 37c reviews that would help in evaluating the product. What caught my attention actually is the name of the wrinkle treatment - Prototype 37c. It sounded like a code; a secret code (big grin). I read in the review that it is better than botox... hmmm... interesting. Anyway, with all these stress that we have at work, hopefully I won't get "wrinkled" this early haha..

Sharing here the video of Augustana's BOSTON. This is one of my favorite hits of Augustana. I like their music. The melody are really nice to listen to; the lyrics of their songs speaks various kinds of emotions, sentiments and thoughts.

My favorite line here is "you don't know me, you don't even care.. you don't know me, you don't wear my chains"

I hope you like this song too. I would listen to Augustana whenever I feel like "escaping" or when I feel like I want forget something or someone.. Listening to their music somehow provides me comfort and allows me to think & reflect.

Eye Creams

I was not able to sleep well last night. Though I logged off early, I was not able to get to sleep. I toss and turn on my bed until 3am. I am not sure if its because it was so humid or its because there's something that's keeping me from sleeping (sigh). A few minutes before 3am, my dear friend sent me a message - his usual early morning greeting. We exchange messages for a few minutes, then I tried to put myself to sleep. I had to wake up at 6am; I need to sleep. It was already 630am when I got out of bed. And geez, I was not surprised to see that dark stain under my eyes (sad). This will definitely need eye creams and a LOT of them. It may probably take a week to remove the dark part under my eyes. This is what I get for not sleeping right.

Rings

Sharing here photos of the rings I bought this weekend. I have been looking for a ring watch for a long time; and I was surprised to see that there are already a lot of them out there in the flee market.

I also bought a hibiscus ring (big grin). Its one of my favorite flowers.

The ring watch has a butterfly design on its face. And it is actually shaped as a butterfly. I love pink and I love butterflies too!

The hibiscus ring is filled with white stones (I don't know what its called) (big grin). And by the way the hibiscus ring is adjustable. It would fit big fingers too. While the ring watch has a stretchable strap to fit fingers in different sizes.

Best Diet Pills For Women

I was feeling terrible yesterday while I was getting ready to go to my friend's house for an overnight bonding session with my friends. My pants are now too tight (sad face); it has now become a skinny jeans. My thighs are bigger now than before (so so sad face). I really need to put my plans to action. Recently, I have been thinking of enrolling myself to boxing class. There's this gym near our house that offers various packages for boxing classes. I will visit the place next weekend. And also for the last few months I have been doing my research on diet pills and weight loss supplements that would help me in losing weight. Unfortunately, until now I have not decided yet what to choose and what to take. I have seen several kinds of diet pills; I have read s number of reviews too. I even came across this site that is all about the best diet pills for women. Like the other review sites I have visited, this one also presents the top diet pills for women. There were three brands of diet pills for women that were reviewed and evaluated. It was really an interesting and informative site. Anyway, I really need to make a choice soon. Otherwise, I might not be able to wear my jeans anymore (sad face).

Motorhome Insurance

As I was browsing the internet I came across this site that is full of photos of RVs and other types of motorhome vehicles. I remember when I first came across a site that is all about RVs. It actually inspired me to dream of having my own motorhome. It has become part of my dreams; I imagine myself living in the US, in my dream house, with my dream car, having a good time visiting nice places in America in my own RV. Sigh... Dreamy (big grin). Anyway, back to reality. I also learned that there are insurances available for RVs. I better take a note of that in my bucket list - a motorhome insurance for my very own RV. But for now, I need to work on how I am going to make these dreams I mentioned a reality (big grin).

My Bucket List - Updated

It has been a long while since the last time I checked my blog Jhudiel's Journal. This blog was created about a year ago. It was suppose to feature short stories about the life of Gabrielle and Jhudiel. But after a few months I decided to change its theme. It has become my bucket list journal.

My first and the original bucket list was posted last October 2009. And since then, I was able to complete... accomplish... slashed out some of the items I listed. Simple goals like -

*Laugh Until You Cry

*Do Something Random/ Spontaneous/ Crazy

*Love Unconditionally

Well, the last one is really not that "simple" (big grin). It takes a lot of everything, really. Anyway, I am hoping that I have more of these three great experiences as I continue with my journey through life. I will try my best to write them down and share them with you. Hopefully, they will inspire you.

There are also items in my bucket list that are about material things.. material possessions that somehow gives happiness to me - like a Chuck Taylor Shoes. (big grin)

I will continue to fulfill my list. And I keep on reminding myself that as I do so I must enjoy every step I take and cherish every moment of it. Carpe Diem!

Silly Photos at the Office on a Saturday

The photos were taken a couple of weekends ago. I was not able to share it last week because I was busy and I actually forgot about it (big grin). My colleague and I reported for work last Saturday. We had to render overtime to work on the clearing up of one of our training rooms; and there are items that we need to bring to our office in Quezon City.

We found this colored wig and mask while we were cleaning up. Actually we found a lot of them (big grin). But this pair of wig and mask looks good on me and so I put them on... and the photo taking started hehehe....

The masks and wigs were used a couple of years ago in our Christmas Party. I am not sure actually if it was last year or a couple of years ago. Anyway, while we were discussing whether to throw these things away or keep them for the next halloween or christmas party, we (correction) I started wearing them haha..

My colleague started taking photos of me wearing the mask and the wig. They look nice on me, don't you think? Haha.. I look silly. She used my celphone camera in taking these photos.

It was really a tiring day because of the kind of work we did (cleaning the training room filed with various equipment and stuff, some are for disposal while some are still for testing whether we can still use them or not); but we tried to enjoy every minute of it. We had a yummy and fulfilling lunch (courtesy of our previous head); and we had a lot of fun disposing the masks and wigs. And of course, we had new memories to cherish.

Rain Rain Go Away..

These photos were taken a few hours ago. I was still in the office and I was suppose to go home early tonight. But because of the rain, I was stranded in the office. I stand by the window and watched the rain falls. Love the rain drops in the windows.

Rain makes me sad sometimes. And tonight is one of those times. Sigh.

Some companies just set up cameras in critical areas; while some install them all over their offices. Actually, these security systems that I mentioned may also be used at home. I know a few friends who have security cameras inside their homes. They say that somehow knowing that they have security systems inside their home gives them peace of mind; makes them feel safe.

Social Security Services

I am done paying my loan from the Social Security Services this month. And I am thinking of filing a new loan application this week. I will use the money in some of my "mini projects" (big grin). I have a few business ideas that I would like to work on; and this will help me in earning extra money. I remember how this social security loans had helped me before. I was able to enroll myself to Graduate School using the money I got from the Social Security Services. And this is not the only benefit of being a member of the Social Security Services. There are also social security disability insurance available for members. I know there are a lot more benefits for members and different types of loans that can be applied for; and I am going to learn more about it (wink, wink).. and make use of these benefits.
