Happy New [35th] Year!

The year is almost over. And soon I will be celebrating my 35th birthday. Oh dear, I am really getting old (wink, wink). But I guess that's fine, age are just numbers (big grin). And besides, I can say that I am happy with my age and with what I have become and accomplished at this point of my life. If I'll be asked for my birthday wish, I'd say that I also would want to experience how it is to say "I have brought valentines day gifts for my husband" or "I won't be able to join you this evening, I have a date with my husband". I always dreamed of having my own family. Most of my friends are already married and already have kids. Sometimes I can't help but envy them. Though being single (and fabulous) also has its benefits; there are still moments when you wish you'll feel how it is to be part of something special; to be part of someone else's life other than your parents and family. Oh dear, I think the holiday season is getting on me now (sigh). Anyway, I am really looking forward to the new year. I feel that there's really something special in store for me (fingers crossed). Next year, 2012 is my year. And I am claiming it!
