Reminiscing

One thing I miss about my work in the office is talking to different suppliers. Amongst the tasks assigned to me, Procurement is the one I enjoyed the most. I get to meet new people/suppliers. Asking discounts from them (big grin) and sometimes freebies. Apart from that I learn a lot of new things about office equipment, office supplies and all that stuff that I was asked to purchase. There are items that I procured that I am not that familiar with. And I am glad to have that opportunity to learn and be exposed to these things. Some of the office equipment I bought are computer systems, telephone systems, lcd projectors, photocopier and television sets. There are also office supplies and other supplies that we use in the office. I was also able to learn new information about software and licenses. Oh well, that was all in the past. Right now, I am using my procurement skills here at the store (wink, wink). I must say, I am still good at it (big grin).
