Vehicle Registration and Car Insurance Policy

My father was asking me if I can lend him some money for the renewal of our vehicle's registration. It is scheduled for renewal before the end of August. As I understand it, you should work on the renewal of your registration on the exact date (earlier would be better) of your schedule, otherwise you will be penalized. He's borrowing money from me because his pension money is not yet available. If he waits for it, he will be penalized. Apart from the registration of the vehicle, he also needs to renew the insurance of the vehicle. He is also borrowing money for it too (big grin). Well, I actually have no problem with that, especially if I have extra money to spare. But if I don't, that's a big problem (big grin). Anyway, I gave the money to my father already, and I just reminded him to be careful when he applies for the renewal of our vehicle's registration and to carefully read the car insurance policy before he signs it and pays for it. It is always better to be safe than sorry you know (wink, wink).
