Tapayan and Stainless Steel Drums

When I was still in elementary school, we have this big water pot. In the Philippines it is also called "tapayan". I was actually scared of it, me and my cousin. Because we thought that there is some kind of monster or a beast living inside the "tapayan" (big grin). But my Dad would tell us that we're crazy and he would explain that the monster can't stay inside the tapayan because it is filled with water. Anyway, it was in my high school years when our tapayan got broken. It was replaced with a couple of plastic water containers and three stainless steel drums. My cousin and I did not have any problem with the new water containers and the drums. We actually find it classy (big grin) and "modern", especially the stainless steel drums. They look neat too! Years passed, and the plastic containers where already gone but our drums remains. The plastic water containers were replaced by drums eventually.
