Happy Valentines Day!

This weekend surely is special. There are two celebrations happening - its Valentines Day and its the Chinese New Year too! Yesterday, I spent the day with my Mom and niece at the salon. As the Chinese recommends, one should have a pedicure and a manicure before the start of the Chinese New Year. Removing the bad vibes, bad memories or everything bad before the new year starts. Apart from my having my nails done, I also had my hair curled again (big grin). Today, I spent the whole afternoon making chocolate goodies. I'll share it with my family and friends at the office. While I was preparing the yummy treats, I can't help but think of the happy (and good things) that happened last week (smiles). I have, again, done something spontaneous last Wednesday. I am happy for what I did; and very happy for what happened (blushing). Sorry, can't share the details. But surely it made my night, my whole month even, hehe...

We also watched the movie "Valentine's Day" last Friday. I like it; it was a nice movie. It was so funny. We were laughing so hard at the theater. Fortunately the other viewers are very patient with us, we were really very noisy, laughing so loud hehe...

I'd say, this year's Valentine's Day is certainly different from last year (and the year before that and the other Valentine's Day). I am proud to say that I am happy. Hold on a second - Nope, I don't have a new boyfriend, hehe... I am happy because I spent a wonderful night at the movie house with my friends, I spent a day at the salon with my Mom and Niece, and I prepared special treats for special people in my life.

The chocolate lollipops - bear, tulip and a pig with a big heart in the photo, are for my dearest friend. Missing him so much. We were talking while I was preparing these sweet treats (smiles).
