Directory Submission

I have been blogging for almost two years now. I have joined several networking communities to help my blogs in getting visitors and creating traffic. I have also joined a number of advertising group and availed of their services to promote my blogs. So far, these efforts certainly had a good effect on my blogs popularity and traffic. But it definitely requires a lot of work. It is a bit hard for me since I am not a full time blogger. I am only able to do my blogging tasks at night after office, and on weekends.

Some of my blogger friends aims to be part of the popular search engines in the web. And as I understand it, a blog or a site must be indexed first before it gets a chance to be ranked and get through a search engine. I have also heard several means to do this. And one of them is through directory submission. It is said to be the simplest way to get your website noticed by popular search engines. Upon submission of your site, it was said that your site will be easier to find.

As for me, my real reason why I blog is because I really love to write. I want to share my thoughts and sentiments through writing. And at the same time, I am hoping that my readers would get something valuable in my writing; something that would help them; something that would make them smile. That's my ultimate goal for blogging. Being part of the popular search engine is a bonus for me. Its a blessing for my blogs.
