Wishing, Hoping and Praying

I received a text message from my friend today. She was sharing the good news - she already have the Chuck Taylor shoes that we were hoping to have last holiday season. Her cousin already arrived from the States; who promised to bring her a Chuck Taylor shoes as a present. I felt happy for my friend but at the same time I felt sad and envious. She already got her wish. And me, I am not sure if I would be able to get my New Year's wish (sad face).

I'm still wishing, hoping and praying for my new year's wish. It is also my birthday wish (big grin). Next week is my birthday. And I have a good feeling that a nice surprise is waiting to happen (fingers-crossed). Until then, I will continue to wish, hope and pray.
