Last Friday I was invited to be part of the batch of employees who are meeting the President of our company. It is actually an informal meeting, as our President calls it, a small group get together. This is a project of our Human Resources Group. The get-together took about 3 hours. We were updated by what's "happening" with the company and the industry; and we were also asked what's "happening" or what's going on in our lives as an employee of the company. It is a good activity I may say. It creates a feeling of belongingness for the employees, making them feel valued and letting them know how important they are to the company. After the chit-chat, we were given a notebook (with the company logo) as a token.
