Medical Equipment

One of my dearest friend called me today. He was asking if I know a place here in Manila where he can buy affordable medical equipment for his sisters who are currently taking up nursing. This question actually made me smile. At the back of my mind, I was thinking if it was just an excuse he used so he can call me and talk to me. I'm sure his sisters know where they can actually purchase medical supplies and equipment. But on the other hand, I also think that it is a valid question; he's been living in the US for a long time, and he might already forgot these things. Anyway, I just told him that most of the affordable medical equipment are found in the University Belt area in Manila. There are several stores in that area that sells medical supplies and equipment. As I was enumerating to him the names of the stores, he suddenly asked me another question, but it was not related to his first question. Sorry I can't share it guys (blushing). But it confirmed my thought about the medical equipment question as an excuse (big grin).
