Remembering The Departed

For this week's Pixel Bug Weekend post, I would like to share this photo, which I took using my handyphone's camera. This is one of the candles we lit for my Aunt. She is the sister of my Mother. I used to live in their house when I was still in elementary school. I stay there during summer, and play with my cousin.

This is the crucifix and the Sto. Nino which are on top of my Aunt's grave. My Uncle would say that the Sto. Nino will keep my Aunt company; especially at night.

Before going to my Aunt's, my mother and I went to my Grandparents' grave first (my mom's parents). We stayed there for a while; and then we went to the grave of my Dad's parents and Sister (my other Aunt).

I hope you guys were able to visit your departed loved ones; and offered them a candle light and prayer for peace.

  1. I actually visited my Father-in-law a week earlier... to avoid the crowd. But this Monday, we still plan to go there.

It's a nice way of remembering our dearly departed aside from always offering a prayer for them everyday.

    Thanks for joining Pixelbug Weekend
