It was a relaxing and fun Sunday for me and my dear friend Beth. We met at 8am today; we had breakfast first and then we went straight to the spa! Unfortunately, we were not able to take pictures at the spa center. But the relaxing and exciting memories we had, while we were at the sauna room; while we were having our whole body scrubbed; while we were having our first milk and honey body wrap experience and while we were having a full body massage, will always be remembered and treasured here in my heart (and I'm sure Beth will never forget our spa experience).
After a relaxing morning at the spa. We went to Eastwood City and have our lunch at Shabu-shabu restaurant. For this yummy bonding moment, I was able to take a few photos of our shabu-shabu. This is one of Beth's favorite restaurants and food.

This is the soup bowl and the pot of soup where we are going to cook our shabu-shabu. Underneath the pot is a heating plate.

Here we have the garlic, onion leaves and bagoong or shrimp paste.
These are the main ingredients of our shabu-shabu. We have pork slices, corn on a cob, crab stick, fish balls, squidballs, taro, tomato, petchay, carrots, and tofu.

We are now ready to cook our hot pot shabu-shabu! Here is Beth starting to cook her meal.

Time to eat now. We also have a rice toppings (with shreds of pork) to match our shabu-shabu hot pot.
We surely had a relaxing spa and a healthy lunch. It was indeed a fun day; and a different bonding acitivity with my dearest friend.
