Busy with the Inventory

The last couple of months just seemed to have passed me by. We were very busy at the office. There has been a lot going on; and they are happening all at the same time. Talk about multi-tasking! One of the things or let me call it projects, that we are busy with is our inventory system. The inventory of assets is actually our groups responsibility; in coordination with our Infrastructure Group. One of my colleagues in the Infra Group was able to develop a tool that we can use as an inventory system. And right now, we are currently checking and testing it if it would help ease our load in monitoring the inventory of assets. I also got intrigued by the system my colleague is working on. It boosted my appetite to open the internet browser and search for inventory tools and softwares. Found this interesting site that offers inventory software and POS systems. The prices look reasonable; and I think it offers your money's worth. But still, it is a good thing that there are also freeware applications and tools available in the web. These are beneficial for those who do not want to invest on their inventory monitoring system.
