Factory-Built Homes

The world wide web surely is full of information. Information that are sometimes surprising, especially for an ignorant person, like yours truly (big grin). Just tonight, I found out new things about homes in the United States. This is my first time to read about manufactured homes and mobile homes. Apparently, these are types of Factory-Built Homes. They are types of structures built in the factory and are transported to the site and installed. These structures are built based on standards outlined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development in the United States. Thinking of it, the first thing that comes to my mind are lego blocks (big grin). It is kind of funny at first, but I guess these structures are safe since these are built based on safety standards. Pardon the ignorance (blushing), this is really the first time I heard of it. And I am not sure if there is something like this in the Philippines. Though I have known a few companies that are into construction, I have not heard of factory-built homes during my dealings with them. Oh well, enough of my excuses, hehe... the important things is - now I know (big grin).
