Weekend with My Niece and Nephew

Yesterday, I spend time with my niece and nephew. We went to the mall and watched the Harry Potter movie. This movie is actually one of the movies we would watch together. The other one is Ice Age. Oh, and also movies of Will Smith. For this year, Ice Age 3 and Harry Potter were in cinemas on almost the same schedule. And so we had to choose which one should we watch first. We decided to go for Harry Potter first. And next week, we'll be watching Ice Age 3. Hopefully, it would still be in cinemas.

Cameras are not allowed inside the movie house, and so I just saved the piece of our movie tickets. This is a portion of the movie tickets, which the usher gave back right after we entered the movie house.

After the movie, we ate dinner in Mexicali (one of my favorite restaurants). It was their first time to eat there. I wanted them to try other foods than pizza and pasta. Whenever we would go out and spend time together in the mall, we usually eat at Pizza Hut. But this time, I brought them to the other side of the mall and dined in Mexicali instead.

I ordered chiken enchilladas for my niece and nephew. My niece had chicken enchillada with rice and salad; my nephew had chicken enchillada with tortilla chips and salsa. While I had my ever favorite barbeque chicken burritos with tortilla chips and salsa. Yummmm!!! And ofcourse, don't forget the garlic sauce. The best for burritos and salsa.

I didn't bring my camera (its not allowed inside the movie house) and so we just saved some of the table napkins the waitress gave us. The table napkins has Mexicali logo printed on it anyway, so I guess it'll do for completing this blog post (big grin).

We went to the grocery store after enjoying our spectacular dinner (hehe.. I truly enjoy eating at Mexicali, I told you its my favorite restaurant). I have this craving for almonds for the longest time. And I am hoping to find a pack of almonds here in this grocery store. Anyway, after doing some groceries, we went home. Luckily it was not raining anymore. We only have one umbrella and my niece and nephew did not bring their jackets. But we were able to reach the house safe and dry. Good thing the rain didn't pour until we are home.
