My laptop is finally working now. It has been unavailable for almost a month. At first it was the operating system that has a problem; and when finally it was repaired, the charger of the unit broke. Fortunately, I got techie friends and an electrician Dad, hehehe... My friends Mark and John fixed the problems with the operating system and the software installations; while my Dad fixed the charger. My Dad made a temporary fix for my laptop's charger; so I still need to source for a new charger.
As I was searching for a laptop charger on the web, I just found out that my laptop is not actually a laptop. It should not be called a laptop. Apparently, small note books such as my Eee PC fall under the netbooks category. These are small, light weight, portable, energy efficient alternative to full sized laptop computers. Pardon my ignorance, hehehe... I may be working in an IT company but there are still some hardware terminologies and facts that I am not that familiar with. And this is just one example of it (big grin).
Anyway, I am still searching for a charger for my Asus Eee PC Surf. If you happen to know where I can buy one, please let me know.
