Prayer

I pray that you would never forget me, even though we are not together
I pray that you would smile whenever you remember the short yet happy moments we have shared together
I pray that you always keep in your mind the reason why we are apart
May this keep the flame of love burning in your heart
And may it not forget the love that you have always saved for me

A smile, a moment
And a small space in your mind and heart
It is enough for me

I pray that whenever you pause and spend a moment with me
My heart would feel it and it would never fail enjoying each second of it
You are always in my heart
The connection remains; The union of the hearts remains

There are things in life that you can't just simply let go. We hang on to memories. Memories are actually the hardest things to forget; keeping us from walking and moving on. But sometimes, these memories help us lift our feet and start walking again. These memories keep us focus to the new road ahead of us.

If ever I would be gone, I hope I would not be forgotten. Just like my prayer, I would want to be remembered that same way.

A smile.. A moment.. would mean a lot to someone who loved true.
