One of my collections which I think are very valuable are my
books. I really love to read. And I enjoy collecting different sorts of books. As you can see, the picture above are my collection of Harry Potter books. I was able to complete my collection as soon as the last book was released to the market. Unfortunately, I lost my Harry Potter Book3, but my officemates were very kind and gave me a hard bound book3 as their birthday present for me (sweet).
Apart from Harry Potter books, I also have a collection of Bob Ong books, a few best seller novels by Sidney Sheldon, Erich Seagull & Anne Rice, inspirational/spiritual books, self-help books, and poetry. My Bob Ong collection is the first and only Filipino books I collected. It is not that I don't like the works of Filipino writers, I guess its just because I am not that exposed with Filipino Literature. I have heard a few famous Filipino Writers though, but unfortunately I have not got the chance to check out their works (yet).
It has been a while since the last time I bought a new book. I have been busy with work, with my blogging and with life in general (big grin). And I just realized that being unable to visit my favorite bookstore should not stop me from buying new, nice books to read and to add to my collection. Since I am always in front of the computer and have an easy access to the internet, I can try shopping for books online! Hehehe... sounds exciting. Honestly, I have not tried shopping online. Well, there is always a first time for everything. And this is the time (wink, wink).
