Two Men and a Lady

I have been in love twice, with two different men. I realized that the two men I fell in love with remained special to me. Each of them have played and is still playing an important role in my life. Both of them will forever have a special spot in my heart. Each one has his share and holds a piece.. a piece of my heart. Each piece they got is unique from each other. And if any of this piece will be lost, my heart will forever be incomplete... broken.

They are two men, totally different individuals. Thinking of it now, it seems I don't have a pattern or specific qualities in choosing who to fall in love with.

One has showed me the real meaning of patience; while the other taught me how to be patient. They taught me a lot of things; they were the instruments playing nice melodies that kept me in tune with the beat of love and life. My relationships with them helped in broadening my mind; nourishing my wisdom.

I know in my heart, time will pass, seasons will change, but these two men will remain in my heart. Things may be different now, but the friendship remains. And I feel that they too share the same sentiment. I am glad and thankful for them; for being part of my life.
