Enjoying The Sunset

My officemates and I were at the Manila Bay Area last Sunday. We were at the SMX Convention Center (just beside the Mall of Asia) to set up our booth for the upcoming exhibit, which our company is one of the participants. After we finish the booth, we bought chips and sodas from the supermarket and we went to the bay area to watch the sun set.

One more time for Iyatot. It was indeed a nice and serene view; and you can't help but stare at it and enjoy the moment of calmness.

As I enjoy that calm view of the sun setting by the Manila Bay, my mind starts to wonder, the sun is rising on the other side of the earth. I was trying to imagine what was it like to see the sun rising from the other side of the world... from your side of the world... from your world.

My day is just about to end. The sun is just about to leave my side of the world. In a few minutes, it will start peaking through your world. I suddenly felt envious of the sun. She would be able to shine some light on your face as you wake up; she would be able to see how you wake up when the dawn comes.

We enjoyed watching the dusk; I enjoyed watching it. I enjoyed the soft, cold wind blowing on my face. It feels like the solitary wind enveloping my heart; making me feel a bit lonely; making me miss you.

Another moment to treasure. Another moment with my friends. Another moment without you.
