The Boys' Birthday Gift

My Harry Potter Book collection is now complete. Thanks to the Logistics Boys. They gave me the "missing piece" - Harry Potter and The Prisoner Of Azkaban, Book 3 - as their birthday present for me. Sweet huh? (big smile). What made this gift super important and worth treasured for is the effort they put together in preparing for it. I was touched. First of all, I was actually beginning to feel sad, because the day (my special day) is almost over and the I started thinking that it is indeed just an ordinary day... just like most days. I was on my way back to the office from a briefing/meeting; and while I am waiting for the traffic, I sent a text message to my officemate Iyatot. I was sharing with her my solitary moments on my birthday, which is about to end. I can't accept the fact that I spent half of my special day on a briefing (sad face). Anyway, she text me back, asking me how soon can I get back to the office.

After a few more minutes, I was back at the office. I was surprised by the gifts that are on my desk. And one of the gifts is from the Logistics Boys. My two seat mates were insisting that I open the gift from the Boys.

And that's what I did. When I opened the gift, its the book one of the boys borrowed from me a week ago. He told me that his sister wants to read the Harry Potter (HP) book collection and he wants to borrow my HP book 1 for her sister to read. Anyway, I also saw a note attached to my book. It says - "Surprise! Can you please go to the library, at rack 3, shelf 3, you see another clue. Happy hunting!!!"

And so I went to our office's Library. I counted the racks - 1, 2, 3. And counted the shelves - 1, 2, 3. The boys were there while I was counting racks and shelves. The 3rd shelf was quite high. I saw another note. It says - "Back to your place and look for another clue!!! Happy hunting!!!"

I went back to my work station, they boys are still behind me. They were laughing; having fun with the "treasure hunting".

On my desk, there's a gift, wrapped in a red paper wrapper with a ribbon and a gift tag. In the gift tag, they wrote - To Ms. Rhea, Happy Birthday!; From Edward, Miguel, Erwin, Jun and Wilbert.

Thanks Boys! I really appreciate all your efforts. Thank you for the love and care. Always be good and obedient boys, okay? (big smile). Thank you very much for all your support - for me and for the group. Love you all! HUgs!!!

You boys is one of the precious gifts God blessed me with. Moments we have shared and we are about to share are always and forever be worth remembering and treasured for. Hugs!!!
